Shapeable has the exclusive right to verify and deny access where such data is incomplete, inappropriate, misleading or missing.\n\n1.3 A User acknowledges that to the extent permitted by law Shapeable is neither responsible nor liable for any damages or costs or harm resulting from:\n\n\\- use of the Shapeable platform website by a User or any use of linked websites (per Section 6)\n\n\\- reliance and any actions based on information displayed on the Shapeable platform website \n\n\\- downloading information or content posted by other Users on the Shapeable platform website and any unauthorised disclosure of such information or content that result from its processing, display or storage on the Shapeable platform website\n\n\\- temporary or permanent inability of a User to access or retrieve information or content from the Shapeable platform website\n\n\\- viruses, worms, trojan horses, or any similar contamination or destructive programmes that affect the Shapeable platform website including on computers or other terminal equipment in connection with visiting, using and/or downloading content data of any kind from the Shapeable platform website. A User is responsible for protecting their own equipment from viruses and other risks.\n\nIn addition, Shapeable:\n\n\\- does not take responsibility for any content on the Shapeable platform website that is incomplete, inaccurate or not up to date.\n\n\\- reserves at its discretion (but is not obliged) to track and/or remove content from the Shapeable platform website.\n\n## 2. Disclaimer\n\n2.1 The Shapeable platform website is provided “as is” and “as available” with no express or implied warranties of any kind. This includes (but is not limited to) any implied warranties of:\n\n\\- fitness for a particular purpose;\n\n\\- merchantability;\n\n\\- non-infringement and;\n\n\\- title.\n\n \n\n## 3. Shapeable platform website -Content and Intellectual Property Rights \n\n3.1 User content \n\n\\- A User who posts, submit, upload or distribute content (whether data or files), that it holds Intellectual Property Rights in, expressly authorises Shapeable (and its supplier per Section 10) and other Users to access it and use it in furtherance of the Purpose and in the context of its processing and display on the Shapeable platform website.\n\n\\- A User, who is an individual contributor of content in which it has IPR, agrees that that content maybe varied or enhanced by Shapeable (and its supplier per Section 10) in relation to the Purpose and for its processing and display on the Shapeable platform website and any resultant new IPR is deemed to be transferred to that individual contributor on creation\n\n\\- A User who is an individual contributor expressly permits Shapeable (and its supplier Shapeable per Section 10) to blend its contributed content into any new material created in relation to the Purpose and for its processing and display on the Shapeable platform website. Furthermore, such content will be subject to the CCPL as referred to in Section 5 provided existing IPR is reserved\n\n\\- A User acknowledges and agrees in summary that, whether in form original contribution content or subsequent enhanced or varied or blended new content, such content will be subject to the CCPL in Section 5 provided existing IPR is reserved.\n\n3.2 Shapeable and supplier (per Section 10) Intellectual Property Rights \n\nShapeable reserves its IPR in content that is its originating information and data, and, based on that, subsequently any newly created structured data, text, imagery, charts (image based), charting data, framework of topics and interactive visualization-all of which is displayed and accessible on the Shapeable platform website.\n\nIn addition, in relation to Shapeable’s supplier (per Section 10) its name and logo are its registered trademarks and Users are not authorized to use them. A User is also not authorised to use Shapeable’s logo or trademarks.\n\nShapeable and its supplier (per Section 10) otherwise reserve all IPR which has not been otherwise expressly granted.\n\nIn these Terms of Use, reference to ***Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)\\*** means any patent, rights in any patent, registered design, unregistered design right, industrial design, domain name rights, copyright (including any right in software), moral rights, database right or topography right, and any trade secret, trade mark or service mark, trade or business name, goodwill, or, rights in confidential information and knowhow, and any associated or similar rights (whether or not these have been registered) and in all cases including applications for registration of such items \n\n## 4. Publications\n\nThe content of any articles published on the Shapeable platform website expresses the opinion of the author of the respective content. Other than the content of articles created and published by Shapeable, for other published content this is not done on the basis of Shapeable’s endorsement of the views or content expressed within.\n\n## 5. Content Licensing (Main Licence)\n\n5.1 Users may make use of Shapeable platform website content (in this section referred to as “**material** \") under the terms of this Main Licence, the Creative Commons Public License being “Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International” (the “**CCPL**”) as summarised below and also at [CCPL](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/). \n\nShapeable reserve the right to revoke the [CCPL](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/) at its sole discretion.\n\nUnder this [CCPL](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/), Users may copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format provided that:\n\n\\- The intent and integrity of the material is maintained.\n\n\\- Users attribute the material to both the respective author and to Shapeable.\n\n\\- Attribution must not suggest that either Shapeable or the respective author endorse the User or their use of the material \n\n\\- Where you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the [same license ](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/)as the original.\n\n5.2 The Section 5.1 [CCPL](https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/) does not apply to Shapeable’s nor its platform website supplier (see Section 10) name and logo nor to other third-party materials, trademarks, names and logos, website, interface elements or source code.\n\n## 6. Links to other websites\n\nWhere Shapeable places other website links on the Shapeable platform website these may connect Users to external or third-party websites that may or may not be related to the Shapeable platform website and as such may not be under its control. \n\nShapeable is not responsible for the content of external or third-party websites. The presence of these external links does not represent Shapeable’s endorsement of the views or content on third-party websites but instead are done for the User’s convenience with respect to the Purpose.\n\nShapeable disclaim any liability for any content that appears on any external site and so navigating to external websites through links on the Shapeable platform website is done at the sole risk of a User.\n\n## 7. AI Use Policy\n\nThis is our AI Use Policy. It governs every AI feature on the Platform, and it is written so that it can also stand on its own. It applies to anyone who uses our AI features:\n\nBehind the scenes, our AI features run on Shapeable's infrastructure and call third-party foundation-model providers — the companies that run the large language models that generate the language — to produce the output. How AI handles the personal information in your Inputs and Outputs — including retention and training commitments — is covered in the Privacy Policy.\n\n#### Inputs and Outputs\n\nWhen you type a question, prompt, or request into an AI feature we call that an \"**Input**\". What the feature sends back — a summary, draft, answer, or similar — we call an \"**AI Output**\".\n\n#### You are told when you are using AI\n\nOur interface makes clear, before you use each AI feature, that you are interacting with AI, and reminds you that its Outputs may be incomplete or incorrect.\n\n#### AI Outputs can be wrong\n\n**AI Outputs can contain errors, omissions, or fabrications** — they are produced by probabilistic language models, so the same Input can produce different Outputs at different times. This is inherent to how these models work.\n\n#### AI Outputs are not professional advice\n\nAI Outputs are intended to support research, analysis, collaboration, and similar knowledge work. They are **not** professional advice and do not replace advice from a qualified professional.\n\n**You must not rely on an AI Output as the sole basis for any legal, medical, financial, or safety decision.** You must independently evaluate any AI Output before you act on it. We and Shapeable do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness-for-purpose of any AI Output.\n\n#### Who owns an AI Output\n\nTo the extent we or Shapeable hold any intellectual property rights in an AI Output, we assign those rights to you on creation — subject to:\n\n- the rights we and Shapeable reserve in our content and intellectual property;\n- any rights held by the foundation-model provider or by third parties whose content the AI drew on; and\n- the **Main Licence**, which applies whenever the AI Output incorporates or is built from content you, other users, or we have contributed.\n\nWhere an AI Output is built from contributed content, it is made available under the Main Licence, and any attribution that content requires is carried through (see *How an AI Output is licensed* below).\n\n#### How an AI Output is licensed\n\nAn AI Output draws on content already on the Platform, and it cites every source it uses. This runs only in response to a question you have asked; it does not push suggestions at you in the background.\n\nThese features are for finding participants to collaborate with. Please don't scrape profiles, collect them in bulk for external use, send bulk or unsolicited commercial messages, or use the features to harass, stalk, or profile others.\n\n## 8. Amendments\n\nShapeable may amend these Terms of Use at any time by notice on this Shapeable platform website. Amendments will be effective immediately upon publication. After posting the notice, the User’s continued use of the Shapeable platform website will be deemed as acceptance of the amended Terms of Use.\n\nA User may reasonably request by email to Shapeable that factual inaccuracies or errors in content (including in relation to accreditations) on the Shapeable platform website be amended by Shapeable.\n\n## 9. Severability\n\nIf any part or provision of these Terms of Use is prohibited or void at law or otherwise illegal, unenforceable, or invalid, that part or provision is deemed to be modified to the extent required to remedy the illegality, unenforceability, or invalidity.
